Skylar Evanson scored 15 points as Jefferson took a subregion win, besting East Jackson 38-24 in Commerce .

Jakeia Wilson added nine points for Jefferson , and Caroline Hicks was East Jackson 's leading scorer with nine.

Jefferson (8-15, 4-4 in Region 8-AA) will play at Banks County Tuesday at 6 p.m.
