Commerce keeps region lead in romp over Prince Avenue

Commerce had four in double figures to best Prince Avenue Christian 72-44 at home Saturday to remain atop the Region 8-A standings.

Bubba Bonds (14 points), Brandon Romans (13 points), Colton Dean (12 points) and Tyler Gamble (10 points) all chipped in to give Commerce the win.

Prince Avenue 's Daniel Howell was the game's leading scorer with 18 points.

Commerce (16-6, 11-2) will play at Towns County Tuesday at 7:30 p.m., the first of three road games next week for the Tigers. Prince Avenue (7-14, 2-9) will play at Social Circle.
