Winder-Barrow tops Apalachee

Mimi Hill poured in 23 points and added eight rebounds as Winder-Barrow topped Apalachee 68-59 at home.

Brittany Whitt had 19 points and seven rebounds for Winder-Barrow , and Lauren Hamel added 11 points.

Despite the loss, Apalachee had three in double figures with Porsha Cleveland (22 points), Lacresha Mayweather (17 points) and Saboyce Shelton (10 points).

Winder-Barrow (12-11, 5-4 in Region 8-AAAA North) will play at Cedar Shoals Tuesday at 6 p.m. Apalachee (10-13, 2-7) will play at Clarke Central .
